How To: The Pocket Napkin Fold

Melissa Dohmen

I'll confess: I never learned how to fold a napkin. Sure, I've done the simple rectangle fold before, but I never did master the magic of a pocket fold or pinwheel.

Today I'm saving you the self-loathing and sharing this classic and simple fold technique with you. Once you've got it down, you'll definitely keep using this over and over and over again.

Start with the napkin flat, pattern side facing you.

 Fold in half.

Fold into fourths, bottom to the top.

Fold one corner down toward you.
